You & Me remix has climbed 13 spots from #83 yesterday to # 70 today on the Beatport house charts :)
Following hot on the heels of ‘Reverence’, Northend returns to Provoke with ‘You & Me feat. Lincoln Blache’, a collaborative effort with label bromeo, Jed Harper.
Commencing with a classic piano line, accompanied by stuttered snippets of the lead vocal, You & Me begins with a breakdown flourishing with a chorus from Lincoln Blache, toppled with guitar plucks destined on building momentum towards the drop. Dropping from the build of the first break, a bass line extracted directly from an electric chair focuses it’s charge, all the while leaving room for a synth arrangement designed by phaser engineers, hell bent on dance floor destruction. With distinct vocal fills littering the body of the track to space out the tension, all roads lead to the second drop, where the track climaxes with a gearshift into full throttle, dropping into utter audio madness.‘You & Me’ is available from Provoke, exclusively at Beatport on Monday 29th April 2013.

NORTHEND & JED HARPER FEAT.LINCOLN BLACHE - YOU & ME  (REMIX

After Northend teamed up with Stereotronique on Reverence, the Canadian returns to Provoke alongside label mate Jed Harper. Set to be released April 29th, You & Me featuring Lincoln Blache is the definition of hands in the air progressive house. Beginning with a delicate piano topped by Lincoln’s amazing vocals, You & Me builds and builds until it launches into a massive climax. Already supported by Dyro on Daftastic Radio, You & Me will light up festival stages all summer long and certainly see more support from dance music’s heavy hitters.
“This is one of those songs that just took forever to get right. I’ve got about 3 different final versions of this on my computer. Actually, if you go back and watch my Fall 2012 Tour Video, you can hear one of the older versions. It was all worth it in the end though because now I’ve got a song I’m really proud of and I can’t wait for it to come out. It was also my first original collaboration with Jed Harper, who is someone I work with a lot behind the scenes; so it was tons of fun to finally do a track together.” - Northend
